I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your professionalism and courtesy in all respects in our recent purchase of our new home and sale of our old home.

When we first met in January, I told you it was our goal to find a new home with a move-in date for late Spring and to sell our old home with the  marketing process to begin while we were away in North Carolina in the month of February.

We purchased our new home in January – made settlement on April 24 – and moved in on May 8.  The purchase price was at the low end of what I told you was our range.  More importantly, the quality of life we have in this house in this neighborhood exceeds what I  thought was possible for downsizing seniors in a best case scenario.

We left for North Carolina on Feb. 9, and we had an executed agreement of sale on Feb. 15.  We settled on our old house on May 15.
