Work Experience: At the age of 19 I obtained my first store manager position with the GAP while simultaneously completing my college education with a bachelors in business adminisration. I spent 12 years in human resources, training and management before being recruited by a division of J&J for a pharmaceutical sales position in the Allentown area. I have since held pharmaceutical positions for Pharmacia and Sepracor focused on specialty sales. Nearly four years ago, during a company restructure, I decided that I wanted to pursue a career in real estate. To this day, I enjoy real estate not as a profession but as a passion and a hobby which has enabled me to do something I thoroughly enjoy, develop new and existing friendships and help others live their American Dreams. How cool is that?
Favorite Sport and Team: I can't pick a sport without waging a war within my household. With six kids, 4 of whom participate competitively in multiple sports, I would have to say, I don't have a favorite! I love watching them all! I'm a novice spectacor at field hockey games making it difficult for me to be the loud, proud parent on the sidelines without great risk for embarrassment. Having another daughter whose dream is to go to college on a football scholarship and a sibling quarterback in the house make football seasons exciting and action packed in our household. Playing in the backyard takes on a new definition. We keep reminding the kids "where's the Superbowl ring you are fighting for?" The winters take us indoors to basketball courts all over the county. Thankfully for me, I've pretty well mastered the many expectations of a point guard and even learned how to interpret the playbooks this year. When I feel the need to escape and savor some "girly" moments, my all-star cheerleader and I travel throughout the country for her many national competitions. The baseball season is the start to my summer tan as I hustle between the pitchers mound and homeplate taking pictures. Did I tell you that my biggest accomplishment in high school was throwing an underhand ball 15 feet for a PE fitness test? Good thing the kids didn't inherit my athletic talents. (They'd all be distance runners!) Summers add a completely different dimension poolside testing out my vocal chords and my swimming talent as the once a year milennium relay comes around for us older generation folks who feel the need to be good sports and take one for the team! As for a favorite team, I'd be lying if I didn't say anything Parkland as it is my alma mater! GO TROJANS!
My best quality or greatest strength: My biggest strength would likely be my ability to squeeze 36 hours of "stuff" into the traditional 24 hr day. My energy level, my upbeat personality and my work ethic contribute to my ability to multi task efficiently and accomplish both my professional and personal aspirations. Get to know me....you'll want to know my secret!
Life Long Dream: My life long dream is to live every day to its fullest... to never take for granted all that I am blessed with in life.... and to know that I have made a difference in the lives of those around me.
Family Time: I am a devoted mother, wife, sister and daughter. Born and raised here in Allentown, PA, I am a graduate of Parkland High School. I am blessed to raise my family in the neighborhood I grew up in and am fortunate that my parents are just a few doors away to share every special memory with! My husband, General Manager for the Allentown Aramark Market Center not only teaches me everything about coffees, milky way swirls and the changing technology to brew those beverages, but supports me in my quest to be a part of everything I can possibly get involved with from neighborhood associations, pool boards and Parent teacher organizations at the kids' schools. Our childlren - all 6 with "J" names range in age from 2-15 years of age and fill my every day with love, laughter, excitement and great reasons to keep working so hard. In our free time, we love our famiy vacations, attending one another's sporting events and just chilling out together!
