Work Experience: I helped my first customers buy a property in 1981. Twenty six years later I can honestly say that experience has been my best teacher. I have seen people through job losses, promotions, transfers, divorces, new babies, empty nest syndrome and the settlement of parent's estates. Being involved in so many transactions has provided me the competence and knowledge to navigate my buyers and sellers smoothly through any potential real estate situation. I understand the emotions involved and I believe I offer empathy, patience, excellent problem solving skills and a positive outlook to the clients I represent.
My Best Qualities As A Realtor: I always put my client and customer's needs first. My reputation and success have been built on service. No detail is too small, no concern is unimportant. Each buyer and seller is unique and I respect that my job is to make each individual experience as comfortable as possible. I have an abundance of energy and enthusiasm mixed with well honed negotiating skills. The end result is that You and your home will ALWAYS be a priority to me.
Education: The real estate industry is constantly changing. When I began in 1981 contracts had one piece of paper and we signed the contracts on the hood of the car. The handshake even meant something back then! Times have changed. To change with the times I devote time yearly to learning the latest trends and technologies.I travel to seminars throughout the country to learn from the finest instructors. I have also earned the Accredited Buyer Representative, ABR designation, and the Certified Residential Specialist, CRS designation. These designations are held by a very small percentage of Realtors and represent both the knowledge and experience required to represent both buyers and sellers well.
What I Do When I'm Not Selling Real Estate: I love life so there is no problem recharging when I am not working. I have an incredible family and terrific friends and together we have a lot of fun! I enjoy photography, gardening, cooking, kayaking, travel and just spending time at home. One of the beauties of spending a lifetime in real estate is that I understand the true value of home.
Why I am A Real Estate Agent: I always love the letters that I receive from satisfied customers at the end of the transaction. When we first meet I tell them that I am going to reduce their stress, handle all the details, stay in touch, coach them through the big decisions, be with them throughout the process...no matter how long it takes. Most trust me immediately while a few take a leap of faith, but in the end they are always grateful for my efforts on their behalf. That is the reward to me of being a real estate agent. At the end of the day, I know those families in transition were able to breathe easier because they hired me to help them make a very big change in their lives.
