WHY I AM IN REAL ESTATE: It all began when I was a little girl.  My mother and I would take long walks through beautiful neighborhoods nearby our center city home.  Our family didn’t have a lot of money, so she and I would walk through open houses or model homes to see what it would be like to live like royalty, at least it seemed royal to us.  As I got older, we still went to open houses or model homes and my passion for houses kept growing.  I tried my hand at a few different career choices, but couldn’t find anything that made me happy.  When I entered my 30’s I finally decided to go for it; I got my real estate license and have never been happier!  I still love looking at homes today and even more… I love helping others find their dream of living like “royalty”.

PERSON WHO INFLUENCED ME THE MOST & WHY: My parents have always been my rock!  They have influenced every part of my life and I will never be able to thank them enough.  We didn’t have much when my brother and I were young; my parents never let that affect how much they gave us in strength and love.  All my life I have admired the fact that they were able to keep moving forward even when things looked to be at their worst.  They saved, they pinched pennies, and they worked 2 & 3 jobs at a time.  They both worked so hard to make a wonderful life for all of us and it paid off.  They have been married now for 41 years and are the best of friends.  I aspire to be more like my parents every day; in love, happy, content, strong, positive and possess a “can do” attitude; I think I am almost there.  I move forward in my life stronger each day because of Barbara & Robert Kimble!

FAVORITE VACATION SPOT: I love most anywhere that offers a beautiful beach, but if I had to choose one place for now, I would have to choose Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.  I have been visiting the island for 14 years now and I can’t seem to get enough of it.  There are so many restaurants, shops and plenty to keep you busy for the entire time you are there.  The island is a golfer’s paradise, but also caters to the shopper, eater, sight seer, night life seeker, and even the sun bather.  No matter what your interest or hobby, you will find it on Hilton Head Island. 

WHAT IS MY MOTTO?: “LIVE YOUR DASH” – while sounding a little strange it works for me.  To explain, you must think of a tombstone.  On each tombstone you will see a date when a person is born and a date when I a person dies; these two dates while very significant can not be compared to how significant the dash is.  The dash that separates both dates is the life lived by a person.  I want my dash to be filled with adventure, fearlessness, love, wonderment, family, friends and much happiness.  I take complete advantage of every day I am given another chance to make a difference in my life and possibly other’s lives as well.  LIVE YOUR DASH!
